Laboratory of Suspension Properties

The laboratory carries out the following research:

  • Studies of the properties of solidified suspensions and binding mixtures (binders and mortars), including compressive and flexural resistance,
  • Testing of physical and mechanical properties of fine-grained materials (moisture content, water permeability, grain composition, density) according to PN-G 11011:98 and PN-93/G/11010 standards,
  • Investigating physical and chemical properties of soils, mineral materials and waste,
  • Testing of organic and municipal waste properties, including morphological composition of municipal waste, content of organic substances in municipal waste, sewage sludge, determination of compost respiration factor AT4,
  • Determination of ash content in coal products and organic waste.
  • Phytotoxicity testing of waste, including OSTRACODTOXKIT F toxicity test – Microbial chronic toxicity test: 6 day toxicity test. The test is in accordance with ISO 14371:2012.
  • Plant vegetation studies,
  • Determination of basic parameters of the aqueous eluate of organic and mineral materials, including pH, salinity, chemical impurity content.
  • Studies of mineral CO2 sequestration of different conditions at pressure d.
