Ceglak Rally 2024 – searching for a student
WRSS WILiGZ is back! And with them the next edition of the Ceglak Rally 2024!
“Accessibility Academy – Strengthening the potential of AGH in terms of supporting people with disabilities” is a project that has been qualified for funding under the “Accessible University” competition announced by the National Center for Research and Development.
In 2019, the Act on ensuring accessibility entered into force, which obliges us to constantly develop and improve studying conditions for people with health problems.
The activities include the development and implementation of, among others, an ICT system for navigation around AGH UST buildings and premises, in particular for people with eyesight and movement problems. Planned activities in the project include:
In addition, the project provides for the improvement of the availability of websites in line with the current WCAG standards, digitization and provision of educational resources for people with special needs resulting from disabilities, and enabling remote access to psychiatric consultations for employees in the field of acquiring professional knowledge used to support students with disabilities in a crisis.
University staff representatives will gain knowledge, skills, and very significant awareness of the functioning of people with disabilities. They will also learn the principles that should guide them in their daily work in implementing the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to contribute to creating an equal opportunities environment, enabling active participation and opportunities for education of education persons with disabilities.
To help AGH employees face new challenges, we invite you to participate in training. The knowledge and skills acquired during them will prepare you to work with people with disabilities, thus increasing work comfort.

The planned activities will directly translate into greater accessibility of universities for people with disabilities and an increase in the competencies of the Project participants in ensuring equal opportunities.
