We invite you to submit a team representing the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management of AGH University of Science of Technology.

We would like to present the invitation and detailed information about the 1st Edition of the Architectural and Engineering Competition entitled “TWO FACES OF ONE FUTURE” on behalf of the Builder and the Concrete Producers Association editors.

The task of the competition participants is to prepare a project – “Conceptual architectural and engineering design of a contemporary dream dormitory in a selected location – DREAMSHOUSE”, taking into account the use of two essential technologies: concrete prefabrication and autoclaved aerated concrete (ABK). One of the educational elements of the competition will be the BIM Marathon, which will be held in Warsaw on May 11-12, 2022.

Competition for Students 

The competition is aimed at students from the faculties of architecture and construction at national universities. The competition is open to architectural and construction teams representing academic centres that provide education in architecture and construction at public and private universities. Only one project team may represent a given university or two combined universities. A maximum of 10 teams will be qualified for the competition, which will be determined by the order in which the complete team application form is sent. 

The project team may consist of a maximum of 4 students, at least one of each field of study: architecture and construction, and a maximum of two tutors – e.g. university teachers, tutors of research organisations. 

We are waiting for team applications until January 31, 2022.
