October 3 All day
New AGH Students
The day began with the enrollment of new students who officially joined the brotherhood of the higher education institution. This moment of pride also marks the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of every young individual who chose AGH for their academic development.
Opening of the Student Zone by Lafarge
Yesterday was also a special day for the entire WILiGZ AGH community—the honourable Rector of AGH, Prof. Jerzy Lis, Dean of FCE&RM, prof. Marek Cała, Tomasz Rułka, General Director of the Concrete Product Line at Lafarge, Inga Chodorowska-Korpak, Director of Human Resources at Lafarge Poland, and Agnieszka Rychlewska, Chairwoman of the WRSS WILiGZ, inaugurated the Student Zone.
The Zone responds to the real needs of students – offering a space for group work, a conference room, individual study areas in the form of workspace booths, and an agora for relaxation or participation in training or workshops.
Common Goals and Future
During the opening, Natalia Warzyńska from WRSS WILiGZ graced the moment with her rendition of “The Joy of the Most Beautiful Years,” underscoring that the time spent at university is a period of forming bonds and personal development.
Lafarge is proud to support the development of science and education. They sincerely believe that investing in young talents, people like our students is crucial in building a future where innovation, sustainable development, and excellence are values and everyday practices.
Conclusion
Proud of the opportunity to support such exceptional initiatives, we wish all students that the years spent at the university are a time of intense development, building lasting relationships, and collecting unforgettable memories. Lafarge will be eagerly following the achievements of AGH students, believing that together, we can build a better future for all of us.
