ECHO

From January to February 2022 students associated with the SKN Zarzadzanie operating in our department took part in the project ECHO (Environmental Changes human obligation IV) which was implemented as a part of a competition “30 lat grantow na 30 lat.) The main organiser was Stowarzyszenie Rozwoju Gminy Zielonki, SKNF Bozon from WFiIS AGH was among partners too. Our colleagues from SKNF Bozon performed bravely in the field of water and energy. They remotely conducted classes for the remaining 10 groups.

Water, Energy, Recycling

The ECHO project covered 3 areas: water, energy and recycling. SKNZ Zarzadzanie was mainly included in the third area, conducting workshops for primary students. Workshops were conducted in 5 groups in Primary School Babice and Primary School Zielonki. They consisted of a 90- minute meeting, during which the topic of linear economy was discussed, as well as the problem of obtaining raw materials, it’s processing and management when it becomes waste. The students introduced the workshop participants how recycling works and how important it is to apply circular economy.

Conducting such workshops for the younger generation, the members of SKNZ used a presentation and various puzzles to diversify the activities. Finally knowledge of the participants was verified by a quiz.

Besides workshops the project included creating 6 infographics, SKNZ was also responsible for the preparation of which. You can see it on the ECHO fanpage.
