This is a source publication. The author tried to select documents in such a way that they would be representative and would show the organization’s activity in various spheres of university and country life as fully as possible. The field of interest of “Solidarity” included almost all areas of life. This statement is supported by an analysis of the scope of matters dealt with by the union at the university. The publication will certainly be of interest to historians, but it will also expand the knowledge of the modern generation about the events from a quarter of a century ago.

Economic and administrative activities at the local level require a detailed description of the area. Typical cartographic projection scales for these areas are 1:500 to 1:5000. Spatial information systems that document geographic reality at these scales are known as terrain information systems. The models and analyzes presented in this work are focused on the environment of these systems.

The script was developed in accordance with the program of lectures conducted at the Faculty of Transport of Warsaw University of Technology on the subject “Transport infrastructure”. The script characterizes road and urban transport and its impact on the environment. The linear infrastructure of motor roads was discussed in terms of designing the layout and profile of the road and its drainage, construction and maintenance of road surfaces. Point infrastructure related to roads and streets is also described.

An academic textbook intended for students in the field of engineering and environmental protection. It raises the issue of soil and ground erosion under the influence of surface water and discusses ways of recognizing and quantifying erosion phenomena. It presents methods of anti-erosion protection of slopes, stream beds and banks of water reservoirs, based on the use of modern technologies and materials. It contains tips on agrotechnical, bioengineering and geotechnical measures to prevent water erosion.

The work was carried out as part of a research project financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the same title. Discusses astronomical measurements in geoid modeling in Poland. The authors describe a measurement system for determining the components of the vertical deviation and determining the components of the vertical line deviation.

We are pleased to announce that the third edition of the Raw Materials Value Chain (RaVeN) master's degree program has been officially inaugurated at the AGH Department of Civil Engineering and Resource Management. RaVeN is one of the programs within the EIT Raw Materials Academy Master's Programs.
