This monograph presents the most important problems, analyzes and conclusions regarding the methods of performing expert opinions, carrying out diagnostics and assessments of selected types of building structures. Trapko T.: Materiały kompozytowe we wzmacnianiu ściskanych elementów z betonu, ed. 2024	A compendium of knowledge in the field of strengthening compressed concrete elements with composite materials. The author deals with problems related to the strengthening of concrete and reinforced concrete elements, mainly subjected to compression, in which composite reinforcement based on epoxy resins (FRP) or composite fibers connected to the concrete base of the reinforced element using mineral mortar (FRCM) is used. This is the first comprehensive presentation in Poland of the principles of calculating composite reinforcements of this type of structures, also containing computational examples. It was shown how to use the possibilities offered by modern composites to improve the load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete elements subjected mainly to compressive loads. The book is intended for practicing engineers, especially those dealing with the strengthening of reinforced concrete structures, as well as students and lecturers of construction.
