Victor Hugo stated that nothing created the future like dreams. What the Bubbles Day was? It was the appropriate form of manifestation of our dreams, and passions. What is more, it was a unique farewell to our graduates and welcoming of new students. New students who have entered the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management.

September 30th was the last day of our graduates which ended theirs education stage. The day after which they will masters their dreams and hopes thanks to the acquired skills and abilities. They didn’t celebrate alone this important day. They were accompanied by the AGH-UST Vice-Rector for Student Affairs prof. dr. dr hab. Eng. Rafał Dańko, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management, prof. dr. dr hab. Eng. Marek Cała, their lecturers, other students, friends, and even children.

Bubbles’ day – interpretation

The Bubbles’ day began in front of the A4 building. All equipment allows creating colorful bubbles, small bubble generators, and a tent where all eager people could be enclosed inside the big colored sphere. The ceremony was opened by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs together with the Dean of the Faculty and the President of WRSS with a short speech. The message of the speech was to show the uniqueness of Bubbles Day 2021/2022, as well as to invite all gathered people to sincere and uninhibited fun.

Bonding and fun

All those who came on the fun stage were creating bubble ribbons, colorful snakes, or multicolored forms with an expression of unbridled joy on their faces. An important part of Bubble day was the opportunity to write down their wishes for newly admitted students. All wishes were written by everyone who gathered including the AGH-UST and Faculty authorities. Sometimes they were in form of a snappy joke. Sometimes in a form of serious news or a hint. However, the common ground was the warmth, encouraging thought which showed that we are a large CE&RM community.

The fact that everyone had a good time could be noticed that despite unpleasant weather conditions, no one wanted to go back home. Furthermore, random people, passers-by, or event children from the kindergarten joined in and had fun.

In addition to the colorful spheres, which were flying for about 2 hours next to the main building of the CE&RM Faculty, all eager people could be enclosed in a large colored bubble. Employees from the Banki mydlane.pl were making enormous bubble cylinders which were over two meters high. Each of us could look at the world through the prism of colors. Colors which were formed on the walls of the bubbles.

Wishes

Everyone who participated in this unique event could show their inner child, dreams, and joy. The bubbles, like the aspirations of our graduates, flayed up high. Once again, on this special day, we all wish you all the best and good luck. Remember, however, that you will always be a part of our CE&RM community. At the same time, we are addressing these words to the newcomers. Welcome to our family, remember that you can always count on us.
