The management and staff of the Department of Industrial Economics and Management at our faculty invite you to a unique event, the Conference on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Department of Industrial Economics and Management, which will take place on 27 May 2022 on the premises of our Alma Mater. The conference will be attended by about 120 people, including students and graduates of the Department of Industrial Economics and Management. The event is an ideal place for the conference participants to exchange experiences in the following areas: independence, leadership positions, work in academic units, work in student scientific circles.

Part of the community for 100 years

Shortly after the founding of the AGH University of Science and Technology, already in the academic year 1922/1923, the training of students in the field of economics and the organization of industrial enterprises began. The Department Department of Industrial Economics and Management was founded at the first mining faculty. The socio-economic and political changes of recent years have led to various changes in the organisational structure of the entire university. The name of the faculty and the chair also changed. The current name of the Department appeared in the organizational structure of the AGH in 2000. The functioning of the chair within the organizational structure of the faculty has a clear influence on the research problem addressed. However, the Department continuously develops its scientific and academic activities and adapts to the current needs of internal and external stakeholders. In her field of interest, broad topics such as business administration, process controlling, logistics, project management or production modelling can be distinguished.

The conference fee is 350 PLN gross. Within the fee we guarantee: participation in meetings, lunch, coffee breaks, banquet, conference materials.
