Invitation to the BIM workshops

BIM workshops
Builder with the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management co-operation would like to invite everyone to the BIM workshop which will be held on the 13th December 2021. The workshop will start at 3 p.m. and will last till 5 p.m.
The BIM workshop was prepared by Builder for the Young Engineers program partner –ARKANCE SYSTEMS POLAND
BIM workshops will be led by experts from Arkance Systems Poland:
Michał Doboszyński – BIM Specialist,
A civil engineer with practical BIM experience gained in the UK and on several overseas projects. He has worked in London as BIM Manager for a design office and in the development department for a leading general contractor. Interested in bringing solutions from the IT world to the construction industry. Currently involved in projects related to automation in design work. Passionate about new technologies and modernistic architecture.
Arkadiusz Leśko – “Market Director-General Construction and Infrastructure “
A civil engineer with extensive experience as a BIM Manager, on the design office and contractor side. Over the last years, he has supported the initiative and development of BIM at one of the dominant General Contractors. Focused on interdisciplinary solutions to support complex investment processes. Currently involved in the development and improvement of communication in CDE environments, between IT systems and construction devices and equipment.

- Introduction to digitalization in construction
- BIM as an integral part of the investment process
- Cubature investment process
- Cooperation as the key to project success (inter-branch coordination)
- Revit as a tool for designers – features of a construction model
- Geometric preparation of analytical model in Revit
- Preparation of materials for the model in Robot
- Apply the loads
- Integration with Robot software

NOTE: Participation in the workshop is only possible by registering on the Builder platform:

Registration for the workshops will be held on the builder workshop webpage.
Each participant will receive a personal Certificate confirming participation in the workshop. Receiving the certificate is possible after prior registration on the Builder platform.
Participation in the workshops is free of charge.

BIM workshop participants are asked to download the following files and install the software:
l Autodesk Revit 2022 (English version) – register and install the educational version at www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software
l Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2022 (English version) – register and install the educational version at www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software
l Install “service packs” for the software listed above and the plug-in “Robot Structural Analysis to Dynamo” – all from the “Autodesk Desktop Application”.
