Procedure
Step by step - First-cycle studies
- 1
STEP 1
Electronic registration
Do you want to study at AGH?
Register on the website of the e-Recruitment system by entering your personal data and high school diploma results. Remember, the number of vacancies is limited!
Follow the instructions and read carefully all the messages provided in the E-Recruitment system and frequently check your account in the e-Recruitment system, as we will be sending various information about the AGH University of Krakow recruitment to this account.
NOTE: You can log in again to the e-Recruitment system after entering your login (PESEL number or e-mail address) and password, which you entered during the registration process.
- 2
STEP 2
Courses declaration
Specify the fields of study you wish to apply for in the e-Recruitment system.
You can decide on a maximum of five courses which are currently available for selection from the same or different faculties. If you change your mind about a course or there are no more vacancies in the course you declared earlier, you can submit other declarations.
ATTENTION: Your declaration will only be considered for admission after the fee has been paid to the AGH bank account, or confirmed if it has already been paid.
- 3
STEP 3
Recruitment fee
Pay the recruitment fee for each of your declarations.
The fee depends on the number of declarations submitted.
You can make your payment in two ways:
a) using online payment,
b) by bank transfer.
Please note that in the title of the bank transfer, you must provide the individual code visible in your account in the e-Recruitment system. Missing code may result in your payment not being properly identified, and you will not be recognised as a candidate for studies at AGH.
Please monitor the status of your payment in the e-Recruitment system. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a candidate status.
Confirmation of the bank transfer is not enough – the recruitment system automatically checks the payment on our bank account.
If you made a payment for only a part of the declaration for a given degree and form of study, the payments will be assigned chronologically to the submitted declarations.

STEP 4
Entering school-leaving examination results
Enter the results of the external (written) part of the school-leaving examination in the e-Recruitment system for all subjects listed on your School Leaving Certificate. They will be used to calculate the recruitment index for each declared major. Formulas for calculating the recruitment index. Please note that the first year of full-time first degree studies at AGH may only be admitted to those candidates who obtained a recruitment index value equal to or higher than 300 points.
ATTENTION: Please refer to the page Terms and conditions of recruitment for first cycle studies in the academic year 2021/2022 for information on fields of study where candidates with a recruitment index lower than 300 points can be accepted.
The e-Recruitment system will compare the results entered with the National Matriculation Register. If there are any discrepancies, you will be notified to explain the differences.
In addition, if you are a laureate or finalist of an Olympiad that entitles you to the exemption from the admission procedure, attach an electronic copy (scan) of a proof of achievement of a laureate or finalist title to the e-Recruitment system.
Remember: the candidate is responsible for the accuracy of the results entered into the system and will be liable for any consequences of incorrect entry.
In the event of missing or inconsistent results, please contact the Recruitment Centre.
- 5
STEP 5
Pre-selection process
The School Leaving Certificate Examination results entered in the system will be used to calculate the recruitment index for each declared major.
Based on the recruitment index, you will be pre-qualified for the declared majors. You will be informed about the qualification results in the e-Recruitment system.
If you are not qualified, and you are on the waiting list, you still may:
continue to participate in the recruitment for this course by confirming your declaration in the e-Recruitment system (you do not have to pay the fee again), declare other courses for which recruitment is carried out (in this case it is necessary to pay the fee for each new declaration).
ATTENTION: If you want to become a student of AGH University of Krakow, you have to submit an application for enrolment and registration after the initial qualification.
- 6
STEP 6
Submitting your application
If you have been pre-qualified for studies, then:
Print out from the e-Recruitment system the application for studies, signature it and submit it to the Recruitment Centre. Additionally, you must submit your original secondary school-leaving certificate (for reference).

STEP 7
Registration for studies
If you have been accepted to a university, you should:
pay the fee for the student ID card to the given account (does not apply to persons who already have the AGH student ID card);
through the e-Recruitment system, send an electronic version of a recent, official, colour photograph (in official attire), meeting the requirements of a photograph for an ID card; bring one copy of the photograph with you to the Recruitment Centre,

If you are a winner or finalist of an Olympiad that entitles you to the exemption from the admission procedure, submit the original certificate of achievement as a winner or finalist (for reference).
In addition, when enrolling, you must submit an original identity document (for verification)
.
Please note!
You may enroll at the same time as submitting your application.

Remember, you should make your entry promptly, as there are more applicants than vacancies.
