Laboratory of Production Engineering and Quality (LeanLab)

The laboratory carries out research and implementation works concerning directions, methods, and tools for designing and improving effectiveness of business processes, with particular emphasis on manufacturing processes. They concern the increase in the fluency of process activities, process efficiency and quality, both of work and products. Within the framework of 16 laboratory workstations, scientific and educational activities are carried out in three main directions:

• management of factors/entities of production implementation: site, equipment/machinery, employees,
• management of the product flow in the manufacturing process towards maximisation of its efficiency, including logistics,
• management of the product flow in the manufacturing process, with the objective of maximising its quality level.
