Solar-Wind Laboratory

The Solar-Wind Laboratory is equipped with a complete system for measuring operating parameters of photovoltaic modules and wind turbines. The installation includes photovoltaic modules both on a fixed rack and on tracking systems with one and two axes, as well as wind turbines with horizontal and vertical axis of rotation. Investigations of operational parameters of photovoltaic panels and wind turbines are extended by meteorological measurements including continuous recording of wind direction and speed, temperature, humidity, dew point temperature, atmospheric pressure, solar radiation and precipitation.
