AGH for the testes – a study of the Mosznowładców

16.11.2022
AGH dla jaj - dwóch mężczyzn w mundurach górniczych przy figurze Stanisława Staszica

November 16 @ 08:00 17:00

Mosznowładcy at AGH

Testicular cancer mainly affects boys and men between the ages of 14 and 35.

Take care of yourself and ensure everything is fine with your health – On November 16 from 10:00 to 18:00, “Mosznowładcy” will conduct free examinations on the second floor of Auditorium A1 (room 220).

The tests are painless, non-invasive and take only a few minutes. They do not require any preparation—no need to make an appointment or sign up.

Testicular cancer accounts for 1.6% of all male malignancies, but it mainly affects the young, who believe that cancer only happens in old age. In Poland, the mortality rate is almost three times higher than in other EU countries because we have less frequent examinations and are not interested in the health of our testicles.

Do it for your BALLS!

Come, take a test, and spend 3 minutes to ensure everything is fine.

Scrotal rulers have been teaching men how to self-examine and what symptoms to look for since 2014. Every year in the most significant cities, you can find a mobile office to take advantage of free ultrasound examinations. For the convenience of our students and employees, we invite them to conduct research at the university.

On Wednesday, November 16, two lab posts will be available for the AGH community, where you can meet with a urologist. This year, a special space will be created on the AGH campus in which there will be two rooms for free examinations for the AGH community.

Mosznowładcy, examine yourselves

Testicular cancer is common cancer among men in Poland. It affects younger and younger men due to various risk factors, including diet or smoking.

If prostate cancer is detected early, it is not a death sentence.

We grow a moustache every November to draw attention to men’s personal health. We provoke discussion. We investigate and diagnose.

The Captain Light Foundation has examined nearly 23,000 men – imagine how many hours are spent in the offices and how much gel is for an ultrasound! And while it doesn’t seem like much, for the 130 we’ve found testicular cancer, it changed everything and helped save lives and health.

We can talk about health, but we need real access to preventive examinations to move forward. That is why we grow a moustache every autumn and participate in a nationwide moustache tour.Every year, 15,000 men suffer from prostate cancer. Since 2014, they have taught men how to self-test and what symptoms to look for. Every year, in the largest cities, you can find a mobile office to take advantage of free ultrasound examinations. This year, a unique space will be created on the AGH UST campus in which there will be two offices for free examination for the AGH UST community.

We do it for the testicles.

Friends, homies, buddies and all those who support our activities!

Dear ladies, colleagues, girlfriends, friends, wives, mothers and grandmothers – thank you for spending so much time persuading your men to take care of their health. Get them to come that day.

November 16, from 10 to 18, we invite you to the Auditorium in building A1, on the second floor, for a free examination!
