AGH is talking – “ThePresja Mosznowładców”

17.11.2022
AGH Rozmawia - twarze siedmiu mężczyzn

November 17 @ 18:00 20:00

Project – “The Presja”

The world we live in does not support mental health. Consumerism, the expectation of prestige and the race up the social ladder makes sense of burden and pressure ubiquitous. Therefore, the best way to change the world is to influence how individuals experience this world. Therefore… On November 17, we invite you to participate in a unique event on the AGH campus.

The Project “The Presja” aims to give people Psychic RELIEF in a world of pressure, opening a dialogue where a titanium image may cover a particle of sensitivity.

It does this by providing them with tools adapted to their situation and health, allowing for a fuller and happier life. Thanks to the co-financing program, psychotherapy, educational mailing, webinars and materials are free.

Let’s talk without pressure.

Daily dialogue often comes down to a short exchange, and time is divided into many aspects, duties or tasks – the everyday life of many people. Added to this are our own and others’ expectations of us. It’s rare to find time to talk about yourself.

Next Thursday, let’s find time to talk without pressure – everyone is welcome!

On November 17 at 6:00 pm, we invite you to a discussion panel with external experts, which will take place in the auditorium of the A1 building (room 220, second floor) at AGH-UST campus. The event will also be broadcast online on the Faculty’s YouTube channel.

And yet suffering and emotionality, as well as strength, make up the definition of a man. According to the writer C.S. Lewis, medieval culture gave us the most excellent model of masculinity – the knight. Sensitive to ladies and the weak but ruthless to enemies. In real life, however, maintaining such proportions is a real challenge.

“Suffering” exhibition

A complementary element of this event will be a photography vernissage in the A1 building on the second floor.

The “Suffering” exhibition engages in a dialogue with men and viewers and encourages them to reflect. Eleven works illustrate the truth about the existence of male suffering. Gray symbolizes the devastation that anger, impotence, sadness, pain and self-struggle leave in a man’s soul. Each photograph is an autonomous work and can be interpreted individually.
