FCE&RM DAY

Over a year ago, we have encountered one of the biggest Faculty’s evolution milestones. Just over a year ago, thanks to the support of the Rector of the AGH–UST, prof. Jerzy Lis, we became the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management. That is why the FCE&RM Day was organized.

As a faculty, we wanted to show ourselves. We wanted to show our rising aspirations. We wanted to show our wonderful students, employees, and our development directions: Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering and Management of Industrial Processes, Revitalization of Industrial Areas. Furthermore, we also wanted to spend a good time tightening the bonds of our community. Integrating students of technical sciences and their mentors. For this reason, the FCE&RM Day was organized outside the walls of the AGH–UST. The event venue was set up at one of the cultural hearts on the Cracow’s map – Forum Przestrzenie.

The FCE&RM Day began with the Faculty College during which the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Marek Cała once again invited all students, employees, and people who are connected with Faculty to celebrate the FCE&RM Day.

We were very pleased that many people responded positively to this appeal. On-site, you could see crowds of students and employees dressed in sweatshirts and T-shirts with the Faculty’s emblems. The employees were not alone. They were often followed by their families. We also cannot forget about the presence of people from the AGH–UST family who wanted to share this moment with us.

Look us Up!

Lot miał być pewnym symbolem naszego rozwoju i wzbijających się aspiracji. Miał umożliwić wzniesienie sią tak wysoko by móc spojrzeć na całe miasto i nabrać nową perspektywę. Niestety w wyniku warunków atmosferycznych lot został przełożony ale i tak można było powiedzieć Look us Up! Wznieśliśmy się do góry przy pomocy diabelskiego Młyna. Dodatkowo każdy z nas, który dostał bilet będzie mógł  jeszcze raz wzbić się do góry, w przestworza balonem!

FCE&RM Creativity is having fun!

While some students and employees raised up, the FCE&RM community that stayed on Earth could watch an artistic interpretation related to our Faculty and “Ceglak” in the main roles. The graffiti that was created during the event was prepared by Art. Kraskoff.
