Full-time studies
Environmental Engineering
Environmental Engineering is a programme tailored to the needs of the modern world and the current employment market. Its innovative and highly prospective curriculum is aimed at educating multi-skilled specialists in the field of environmental engineering, and in particular in engineering practices that shape the internal and external environment. The courses focus on ventilation and air conditioning, water and sewage systems, raw materials and waste management, circular economy, water and atmosphere protection and the use of renewable energy sources.
Revitalization of Industrial Areas
The Revitalization of Industrial Areas course of study undertakes the challenges aiming at the socio-economic and natural revival of degraded areas as a result of industrial activity, natural and civilization disasters as well as the decapitalization of urban structures. You will obtain interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in conducting reclamation works that reduces environmental nuisances, as well as the conservation and restauration valuable infrastructure, designing new functions for degraded sites and facilities, and managing revitalization projects.
Civil Engineering
The field of Civil Engineering studies is classified in the area of technical sciences, in the Civil Engineering and Transportation disciplines. The basic curriculum objectives for the bachelor’s degree in the building and construction industry include the transfer of knowledge, skills, and competencies in design, construction, and renovation of buildings, supervision, and management of the construction processes. Graduates can find employment as designers and constructors of structural objects, supervisors and construction engineers, specialists for the production of construction elements, specialists for the execution of the construction processes.
According to research, 95% of graduates are employed within 6 months of graduating – 80% within 3 months. In recent years, the Civil Engineering has been ranked at the top of the “Perspektywy” Universities Ranking.
Engineering and Management of Industrial Processes
Engineering and Management of Industrial Processes is an engineering discipline that deals with the principles of product and process development, as well as the basics of control, operation, organisation, and management of manufacturing processes. It is also understood as a set of activities aimed at effective implementation of the production process from the moment the need is identified until its complete fulfillment. Current economic and social changes, manifested in digitalisation, digitisation of processes, expansion of the Internet, general access to knowledge, considerably determine the development prospects of a modern organisation. Management cannot remain indifferent to these changes, on the contrary – it has to take into account such phenomena as the growing virtualisation of entities, co-creation of values by consumers or development of innovations in the open model.
Mining Engineering
Mining engineering is a major for people passionate about the sciences and looking for a challenging job in an attractive and changing environment. If you belong to this group, this could be a subject that would be of interest to you and give you the opportunity to develop in this field. The reality of the mining world is changing rapidly and technologies are developing all the time. This is made possible by computerisation, robotisation and the development of digitalisation, which are the combined result of mathematical and natural sciences. Techniques and modern technologies for the extraction of raw materials and the operation of mining machinery are other topics that will have no secrets from you. Mining engineering also focuses on developing your ability to work in a team and
leadership skills. This will enable you to lead a group of people and take on managerial positions in the future. Help us get to the 3.0, or even 4.0, stage of Mining!
Safety Engineering
The Safety Engineering programme responds to the dynamically changing needs of the industry, the employment situation and meets the expectations of the social environment with regard to more comprehensive approach to safety in the area of occupational health and safety, environmental and technical safety. The modern and innovative curriculum integrates safety in the human-environment-technology context in a comprehensive way, allowing graduates to use their knowledge, experience and skills in their professional work and providing employment opportunities in various branches of the business sector. Master’s degree in Safety Engineering (specialization Occupational Safety and Labour Protection) allows you to obtain the professional qualification of senior occupational safety and health inspector and to hold managerial positions in occupational safety and health services.
Raw Materials Value Chain
Do you want to be a global game changer, who is equipped with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience that can solve the world’s biggest challenges?
The Raw Materials Value Chain (RaVeN) master’s studies are intended for people who want to gain solid and holistic knowledge in the area of value chains: from the sustainable exploitation of raw materials, through their processing, to obtaining modern materials for the development of innovative technologies. RaVeN studies reply to the current challenges of the socio-economic environment, including the growing demand for highly specialized specialists in the labor market in the field of raw materials.
RaVeN, thanks to the significant involvement of non-academic partners (business, industry, research centers, consulting companies, startups), promotes building creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, preparing graduates to implement sustainable solutions in the raw materials industry, processing, metallurgy, energy industry, automotive industry and sectors logistics, consulting and training companies.
