Thermal Technology Laboratory

The laboratory is designed for aerodynamic research of supply and exhaust components used in ventilation and air conditioning systems. Research topics include the distribution of air from ventilation diffusers. The research is based on velocity measurements using thermoanemometric transducers, meeting the requirements of PN-EN 13182 standard and intended for this type of measurements. The measurement grid is determined by smoke tests. Measurement of the air velocity flowing out of the supply air element enables determination of the range and shape of the stream in isothermal conditions. One of the greatest advantages of the laboratory is the movable ceiling, which can be repositioned so that tests can be carried out for any room height.
