Laboratory of general, analytical, physical chemistry and technology of water and wastewater 2.18HM A1/13 A1

Description of the research activities undertaken in the laboratory:

  1. Determination of basic water and wastewater parameters – physical and chemical indicators.
  2. Application of chemical and physicochemical methods to remove both inorganic and organic pollutants from water and wastewater (coagulation, de-ironing, neutralisation, sorption, ion exchange processes)
  3. Quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis
  4. Environmental chemistry, including analysis of water and soil pollution with methods of removal or neutralisation
  5. Chemical reaction kinetics – study of the effects of amount of a substance and a change of temperature on the rate of a chemical reaction
  6. Reactions in solution and phenomena at phase boundaries.
